The girls are constantly drawing, and recently Catherine has been working on people. Here is a recent drawing of herself (on left) and Phoebe. Note Phoebe's curls!

Happy (belated) Independence Day! We celebrated by going to the Cocoa Beach Holiday Inn that has a Pirate Ship pool on Sunday and Monday. We almost lucked out when the Shuttle launch scrubbed for Saturday, but then it scrubbed for Sunday too! On the 4th, we made several appearances around town, finally ending up at Aunt Dana's house for food and fireworks. Hope yours was fun and safe!

Last Saturday, the four of us went fishing for the first time at a neighbor's house. We took our Barbie fishing poles and bread balls and hoped for the best. The poles worked great, but the bread was too easy for the fish to get off the hook. We had to hunt up some worms real action, which I think the girls thought was just as interesting as the fishing. Literally within seconds after using the worms for bait, we started cathing fish. As you can see, the fish weren't that big, but the girls were proud!

Last weekend we went to Epcot to check out the Butterfly Garden at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Show. We had a great time! also checked out the Living Seas... very cool!

After two weeks of long hours working on the final stretch for the Astronaut Induction Gala, I finally made my deadlines and was able to actually enjoy the nights festivities. We invited Patrick and Linda to join us, as it was Patrick's Birthday Weekend, and what better way to celebrate it than with a bunch of Astronauts and large pieces of hardware!

The event was cool, as always. Got to meet one of the inductees at the VIP reception: Brewster Shaw. Very cool cat as most Astronauts are, nice to meet him finally after looking at his photos and reading about his exploits for the last six monthss or so. Also had a nice conversation with Al Worden, Astronaut Scholar Chairman, and also said hello to Lynne's Grandfather's old buddy Fred Haise, of Apollo 13 fame.

We all had a great time at the Corporate 5K yesterday evening! Thanks to all of our friends and guests who came by our BlogZerk tent and said hello! With special thanks to Sobik's Subs, for providing some awesome post race subs!

Our trip to Copper Mountain was awesome!  We arrived to lots of snow and great sking!

The girls spent their day in the "Bunny Bakery" where they made cookies, went on a little field trip to the Fire Station, whet sledding and basically had a grand time.

Lynne and I hit the Mountains with Kimberly, and Brian went cross country sking.

One night i a blizzard we even went tubing, or at least some of us did. The girls and I decided it was way too cold so we headed indoors!

Met a bunch of new friends with the Orlando Ski Club, and caught up with some that we have traveled with in the past.

Good times had by all, and we made it back in one piece! Now we are already looking forward to next year.
